Michelle Baerken had enjoyed a career as an award-winning florist before she was inspired to take up jewellery design after becoming a mother. For 15 years, Michelle had worked as a florist, specialising in floral arrangements for weddings. During that time her creative designs led to her receiving a number of industry awards.

However, in 2006, the birth of her first child, Melissa, led to Michelle embarking on a new profession. While staying at home to care for Melissa, Michelle decided to establish an innovative online jewellery business that would provide an outlet for her creative talents. Inspired by her daughter Melissa and husband Mark, Michelle established Three M’s Fashion Jewellery.

The business has developed a website that provides customers the ability to purchase online a wide variety of beaded jewellery, ranging from bangles and necklaces to earrings and watches. The site even sells kits with detailed instructions that customers can use to create their own jewellery.

Seamlessly transferring her creative talents from floral arrangements to jewellery design, Michelle’s beaded creations have now been featured in a variety of fashion and wedding magazines.
